Hi all.

Figured I should introduce myself - I've been mostly lurking for a few weeks now.

My name's Dawn, and my husband and I recently moved onto 80 acres of trees and meadows in Saskatchewan. Last year was the fun and excitement of getting a trailer moved out here, and all the services in before winter. Now, we think we're ready to get a few chickens... so I have 12 black sex-link chicks coming on Wednesday! This'll be the first time I've had chickens (other than raising a few for a couple weeks for school many years ago) so I'm sure it's going to be an experience!
