Hello from SATX (San Antonio, TX)

Welcome fellow Texan!
Check out idealpoultry.com
In the descriptions they tell you if the bird is good in hot climates. I have had very good luck with my ideal chickens.
Some I would recommend would be Welsummers, Crested Cream legbars, naked necks, and leghorns.

New to chickens and not sure of what breed would do best in the SATX weather. When I was younger my grandmother had chickens and I want to start introducing them to our property and to enjoy fresh eggs in the mornings. I've been a member of the forum for a few years but only as a spectator but now it's time to change all of that.
Well, we're happy you decides to take a moment and say hello!

Welcome! :welcome
