Hi and welcome! Where abouts are you?
 
I live near oldmeldrum and Inverurie. Do you happen to have any Bovans Goldline chickens at all? If so would they manage to fly up to a 3ft roost?
 
They should manage 3 feet no problem at all, however the buff orps might need a stepping stone of some sort.
 
Ok, thanks for that, I was just planing the coop and wondered wether they needed a sort of ladder or ramp or not.
