When you start to post on a thread you will see a bar above with icons, letters etc. Click on the smiley face and you will find emoticons. Leave a couple spaces in your sentences and then click on the smiley you want and it will pop up in the space you saved.

Thanks! Let me see if I get this, I'm not seeing the icons, but that might be cuz I'm on my phone. Will try on my computer next time I'm on it. Would probably save me tons in data to stop using my phone lol!
