Hello from Skippin' Sammi in Indiana

I am new here and to chickens so any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated. I have cats and a Blue Heeler dog and live on an acre in the country, in a remodeled 100 yr. old farm house. I am hoping to get 4 Silver Laced Wyandotte chicks this Spring at the poultry show in Bloomington, In. to raise as pets and for the eggs.
