My small family of four will be moving to a small town called Snow Hill. We will be on a 65 acre farm, but only using around 2 acres or so to begin with. We plan to raise a few types of fowl.
 
Welcome to BYC - must be great to have that much land and no one to complain about chickens. If you go to "where am I, where are you," in the social forum - you can locate and post (and subscribe) to your state thread.

That way you know what is going on around you and when/if you decide you would like birds, you will know who sells them locally.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. What a nice set up to have that much land (if for no other reason as a buffer between you and the neighbors).
