Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Our family currently has 17 week old chicks.
(3) What breeds do you have? Several, each family member purchased a different breed. Orpingtons ( lavender, buff and a ?), Australorp, Rhode Island, Barred rock, Colombian rock, Azure Blue.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? So far they are pretty darn cute!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Hiking, fishing, camping, renovating.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I love my job, I work for a charity. I have 4 teenagers and a husband of 20 years. We live in Ontario on a few Acres, have two dogs- a Standard poodle and a Havanese.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC- just discovered it as I googled questions about raising chickens.
