Well, I have been talking about getting chickens for a few a years now, and have finally decided to take the plunge! I got a peep every spring from my grandfather when I was a little girl, and now that I'm not so l little anymore, I am finally in a place where I can manage it! But even with a ton of research so far, I am still going to have a pile of questions, I'm sure.
We live in a rural part of Pennsylvania on about 11 acres. I am trying to code on a coop right now (I finally got my husband excited, which means he is on a 24-7 Internet search for the "best" option. We also have neighbors with chickens, too, so I'm sure we'll be going thee soon with questions, too.
Well, I just wanted to say hi, and thanks for all the great info I've already read here!
