Hello all. Have had our chickens for about 6 weeks and just built the "Pollo Palace". We have 9 in our flock with a good variety including:

1 Americauna - "Meri"
1 Wyandotte - "Octavia"
1 Barred Rock - "nobody asked you Patrice!!"
1 Dominique - "bye Felicia"
1 Japanese Bantam - "Jaycee"
1 Aracauna - "Ari Tuffbeard"
1 White Cochin - "Nugget"
1 Orpington - "Golders"
1 unidentified - Black and Tan - "Guiness"

Our kids love our chickens and I never realized this hobby was so much fun!!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. Raising chickens is a wonderful experience for children. Our children and granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) loved our chickens and made lap pets of our calmer and more gentle breeds (such as Cochins and Orpingtons). ) Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
