We are a family of five (me, the hubster, and three kids ages 6, 4, and 2 months, and we are working on an international adoption of possibly two more, whew! This ol' girl is done having kids the old-fashioned way, since the latest was a 10.5 pounder who came out, unmedicated, at home.) We just picked up our new babies after talking about it and researching for over a year - three chicks and two ducklings. I homeschool, so the kids and I get to be at home with our feathered friends and give them lots of attention.
We've learned so much already just from lurking and reading, so I'm happy to finally get to have some birdies to talk about.
