Hello Peeps
)
I have been keeping chickens for a number of years.
At present I have a mixture of breeds. The include: Bantam Wyndottes (gold and pencilled), pekins of various colours, 1 Buff orpington large fowl called big mamma (as she is huge), orpington bantam called chicken licken and afew light and black Sussex.
I also have 19 chicks on heat at a week old. They are CUTE and so tiny. Had 2 with splayed legs, which was a new experience for me.
The big new thing is that I am about to put 22 ebden goose eggs into an incubator. I am scared as I have never done goose eggs before and there is little knowledge out there about eggs incubation. This appears to be the best site for this kind of thing so I am hoping I soak up enough knowledge to get some eggs to hatch.
Thanks for listening to me chat!
