I have been lurking here for the last couple of months. I figured it is about time to say hello officially! This is my first time keeping chickens, and I couldn't have done it without BYC!
I have 6 lady chicks, now about 3.5 weeks old. I have two EE's, two buff brahmas, a BB red cubalaya, and a barred cochin. I love them all!
I am going to try to post some pics (crosses fingers).
This is Stella, one of the EE's:
Here is Josephine, the cochin, and most photogenic of the bunch:
Here they all are, less than a week old:
And, ahem, the coop that was built from wood found on the side of the road:
