I have had chickens for 5 years...
Golden Lace Wyandottes...
15 weeks I got 6 more pullets.....
They have been in a runner next to the older girls for 12 weeks
They are outgrowing the runner and small coop....
this was the 1st coop I built for 10 then realised it was too small
so I built a larger coop and running area right next too it...
My question is When and How should i combine them...
There is a door that leads to the larger coop from the smaller runner...
Thanks

I would like to thank all of you for the Welcome.... and thanks for the links about getting my girls together .... I did open and let the new girls out with the older ones.... 4 out of the 6 of the young came out ... the older ones did not seem to care about the younger girls...Walk right by... the ruler of the roost acted like she wants to take the young under her wing.... When another older girl came too close to the new ones... she would peck them away... Not pecking the new girls... They are sleeping in different coops tonight.... By the way I also have 2 Top Bar bee hives... I have always liked girls.... Thanks again, John T
