My husband and I decided to get chickens to raise for eggs. We are loving our 8 girls. They are golden comets and are 2 1/2 weeks old. We live in the midlands of South Carolina. I love this website. I have been checking it out for about two months trying to decide if we could undertake raising chicks. Thanks for all the good information. Knowing that this site is here and all my questions and concerns can be answered by people raising chickens made my mind up to get my girls.
