Hello From South Carolina

I've been referring to this forum for quite some time, but decided to sign up today. I am currently chickenless, but want to start a small flock, like now. I have always had other birds and currently own a Sun Conure and Budgie (Sunny and Iggy). Sunny will be 11 years old this year and I hatched Iggy six years ago this July. I used to do a lot of wild bird rehab.
So anyway, hello! It's nice to finally be a member!

Welcome! Be careful, chickens are addicting! They are so much fun, you'll love having a flock. I also have a sun conure, a mischievous boy named Larrikin. They really do manage to get you wrapped around their wing.

I simply can't wait! I am in the process of converting a wine cooler into an incubator. I just ordered a thermostat!
And yes, Sunny definitely has me under her wing...I should have said, "I am owned by a sun conure..." lol
