Hello!
My family and I purchased 6 pullets on fathers day. I am not sure how old they were, but they were all fuzzy still. I am also un aware of the type of chickens they are. The feed store classified them as: 2 reds, 2 yellows, and 2 blacks.
We are thrilled to be on this journey and have been looking forward to owning our own laying hens for a couple of years. I am going to take pictures of my girls this evening and post them for everyone. Maybe then I can get an idea of what type of chickens I might have.
Right now we keep them inside the garage while we are building their run and coop. It is so hot here right now (above 102 degF) that I think they are better off in the garage with the AC.
I am so glad I foung this forum and look forward to sharing our adventures in chicken hood with you all!
