Hi and welcome to BYC! Good luck in your new adventure! There are soooo many breeds to choose from. I have 8 chicks and 7 are different breeds. I absolutely love the varity! We brought our first chicks home unprepared! No coop, no brooder, no idea what to expect even though we were planning chickens in a year advance. Jumping in and bringing home the first chicks was amazing! It's been amazing ever since. Have fun bringing home your new flock!
