Hello from south east VA

Hi! I have a small flock of 12 hens and 7 ducks. We have blue splash marans, buff orpingtons, silver lace wyandottes, and americanas. Our ducks are mallards, pekins and khaki campbells. We are a homeschooling family with 5 sons. The boys love the birds and they all have favorites. I grew up in the city but always had a love for chickens and ducks because of my sweet grandmother who still has a small flock at 84! As soon as we bought our home 3 years ago in a chicken friendly little town we brought home our first 6 little fluff balls and the rest is history. I used to think I was a dog person but now I know I am most definitely a chicken person!
