I DO get the picture.
Dh, however, is trying to resist. I did get him working on a chick-cam last night, though

Guess that proves resistance is futile?

Indeed it does! I think I would get

If I asked for a chick-cam. My dh tries to resist, needless to say he has picked out 2 little chicks that he say's is his and he has already named them

I wouldn'y be getting my chicken cam if he didn't already have the equipment from a few years ago. He used to do web cam calls with his brother.

Already named a couple? Yup, if he's picked out 'his' chicks then you're definitely undermining his resistance!

A computer camera positioned above the incubator. It records digital snapshots of the incubator on a timer and you can access the pics from a weblink. So I can watch for bator activity from work during the day.

In a perfect world, my chicks should hatch on the weekend. But I'm figuring they'll show up on a Friday while the kids are at school and I'm at work.

Also, it will let me know if the cats are napping on the bator when they think there are no witnesses

Oh cool! Ill have to look into that! It would be a neat addition to our new website.

We just hatched our first 4 blue splash silky chicks of the year 2 days ago.

They kinda look yellow in this pic but trust me they're blue, lol.

Bummer. I can't see the pic...

I can't take credit for the critter cam idea. SOmeone else had one and shared the link. It was addictive to click and view the latest hatchlings. When I mentioned it to DH he rememebred some old computer cameras and TA DA! It still worked. Tonight he'll work on the web link for it.
