Hi everyone! I'm a relatively new chicken owner. I started with 2, 2 day old, silkie chickens. Which they are now 9 and half months old! They are the best pets ever! I didn't think I was going to love having chickens so much! This website has been the biggest help through my crash course in chicken parenting and I finally decided to sign up!

If she is a good broody she'll teach you The broody way is really the best way to go. No fussing over temps ,humidity, no egg turning. Plus mama will show them where to eat and drink and about finding bugs.
