Hi ya'll. I'm Liz from South Texas near the coast. My family has chickens and I joined this site to be able to raise healthy chickens and hatch chicks. We currently have a variety of juveniles and chicks as well as some newly hatched Olandsk dwarfs. I look forward to learning from everyone on here.

Welcome to BYC! So glad you could join us!

We love talking about chickens, and we also love pictures, so feel free to post any questions, comments, or pictures.

Best of luck with your flock!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. My wife and I were both raised in the great state of Texas. :o) If you haven't done so already, definitely our Learning Center at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is loads of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.

I will try to get some new photos to show everyone the rest of our flock. My mother (reindeermama) actually owns the flock. She has picture of the baby Olandsk dwarfs here on incubators anonymous thread, so here they are. We had to assist the last chick hatching (bottom picture right).

My two little hatchlings.

Okay managed to get a good picture of our 4 week olds in our home made broader. The red cups are to keep the chicks from jumping on then pooping in the food and water.
