I candled the eggs I have in the incubator and FINALLY I have an embryo in a silkie egg! I'm excited! I've been waiting for some fertile eggs. Been sticking eggs in the incubator and then candling them after a few days and they have all been infertile. I added another mature (but young enough) rooster and some young cockerels to the flock and last weekend I trimmed everybody's butt feathers. Hopefully my two old dudes will breed too.
