Hi, I am looking forward to reading all the posts on this site,

I just successfully lobbied my small rural town to allow chickens, it took over a year, but it was worth it.

I have 4 lovely ladies (I hope they are all ladies).

At our farm they are all hens until they crow.
 
Hi from Wales, I am new to this also, have found lots of good information and help on here, all my Chickens are at point of lay, and already thinking about expanding our coup.
Well done on getting your town to give you permission to have them and hope all goes well.
 
thanks, my chickens are 18 weeks old and definately getting distinct personalities
