I grew up raising dual-purpose chickens, imagined myself one day returning to the farm, but instead find myself languishing in suburbia. I'll be starting my first small backyard flock this spring, having concluded that though the farm-girl got taken from away from the farm, there is no good reason to let the farm be taken out of the farm-girl! Looking forward to learning as much as I can from the forum, and making new friends!
