Hello from Southern Maine! Brrrrr

Hello everyone!
I just wanted to say Hi and to let you know how much I love this website! I'm a new chicken owner and I have found it amazing. Hurray for BYC!
I have been lurking (as someone put it) for a while now and I can't believe all that I have learned! Thank you all so much for all your expertise. I feel that I am prepared to face any problems, and have a warm fuzzy feeling knowing your out there when I need help. You people are great!
If someone had told me last year that I was going to have chickens and become addicted to them, I would have called them crazy. Me? Own chickens? Well, I do and I love it! Four RIRs, and I want more (of course)! These pullets have been such good chicks, giving me on average 3 eggs/day. Yesterday, for the first time, I got four!
Anyway, thanks again for all the great threads here on BYC, I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found all this great information. Books are great, but they really don't prepare you for EVERYTHING. Thanks for being there! ~Kim
