Nice to see another from the southern part of the state. Don't worry, once you actually get chickens the obsession will go away. That is until you go into the feed stores and see that one chick, or two, or ten that you just have to have for the coop. Or you get the idea that incubating a few eggs might be a fun thing to do.

Whatever you do don't even think about going to any Chickenstocks. It is one thing to talk to other chicken people online but once you meet them face to face the addiction just goes haywire. You will find yourself bringing home ducks, turkeys, guineas, goats and possibly small children.
