We are new to chickens. We got our chicks in early Feb. 2022
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Yesterday morning we started with 8 but after an attack by a wild animal, we are down to 7.
(3) What breeds do you have?
We have Buff Orpingtons, both Silver and gold laced Wyandottes, Americaunas, a Black Star and a Brahma.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
So far I've really enjoyed building their trust and learning their personalities.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Sewing, crafting, reading.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We are a family of 4. We have a 2.5 year old daughter and a 5 year old son.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found your community while researching what may have killed one of our chickens. I joined so that I could ask questions about the attack and to have an account for the future.
