First time flock owner. I love my chickie doos (that's what I call them when I go out to their coop and say hello btw). I also love this site. There is so much information and support, which really comes in handy when none of your friends or family have chickens. They think it's neat and all but don't understand that it's kind of an addiction. lol I'm a housewife (no kids, just pets) so I spend a lot of time with my birds each day. They are funny and endearing and occasionally frustrating (well the camera-shy ones can be at times) but I can't imagine my life without them. And they're only 8 1/2 weeks old! Yup, I am officially hooked and couldn't be happier.
