Hi, my name is Lisa. My husband and I are new to chickens, have a coop, tons of research under our belts, and lots of supplies, just need the chickens now!
We have been on the hunt for started pullets that are coop ready, but are not having much luck in our area. Being our first run, and since we both work full-time jobs, we were trying to avoid the baby/heat lamp stage.
Breeds we are interested in are wyandottes, barred rocks, rhode island reds, leghorns, just any easy breed.
Not really sure about my favorite aspects yet, but the idea of having them and spending time with them is exciting!
I found BYC when I was searching for started pullets in my area. Any advice or tips is certainly appreciated.
