Hello All,
I am new to BYC, but not new to poultry. My family states I take after my grandfather, who was a BIG chicken lover. I remember as a child going to his house and seeing all the chickens running around. When I finally was able to have chickens myself, my other grandfathers cousin gave me several bantams (bantys). Now I have bantams (mixed breeds), a white rock rooster, and nine girls - Rhode Island Reds, Dominiques, Black Australorp. and a White Rock hen. I also have 9 guineas, mostly pearl and 1 purple hen, I have 4 Toulouse geese and just recently purchased 4 Muscovy Ducklings.
I love reading about poultry and learning new things about them. I find just sitting down watching them scratch, peck or play as informational as any book.
I look forward to hearing from everyone and learning more about poultry and the like.
Thanks,
Rockado
