Hello, im a SAHM of 6 boys, 4 dogs, 1 turtle and 6 RIR hens. Besides taxi-ing my boys all over to thier activities and cheering them on, I love to garden, I do Brazilian jiu-jitsu and am a purple belt. I love to read. Last June I jumped into chicken loving with 6 chicks. We got them for eggs but I quickly fell in love with each one. Their unique personalities suprised me, as did thier socializing. They quickly became my sweet companions. I recently found BYC through Google because one of my girls (Pinky) developed an impacted crop. A vet friend of mine opened her up and emptied her crop after my attempt at home weren't successful in clearing it. Then she developed sout crop and is currently back in isolation on Day 2. Crossing my fingers that this works. On top of all of this I've noticed "rice" in thier poo. Fun! So I signed up to ask Dawg53 about discarding eggs while using zimectrin gold. Thats my story and im sticking to it.
