Hello from Springfield, Oregon

Greetings and welcome to BYC! So glad you joined us. Thanks for rescuing the stray. Amazing how quickly they just become part of your everyday life. There's a wealth of info, knowledge and experience shared in the multitude of threads. Browse around and see what interesting stuff you can find. By all means post away when the desire strikes you, especially if you have questions (provide as much detail/info as possible and pictures truly help)... With all the great folks here, generally someone will respond in no time at all. Please make yourself at home!

Hope you enjoy the site!

Welcome to BYC! Since chicken were an unplanned addition to your life I was curious how you have em set up for the coop, run and roost. Please shoot us pictures of your flock as we might have some good ideas to help make your introduction into chickeneering a smooth experience.

Since Rosie(and we love pictures please indulge us here plus fluffy chicks) is already established on your property she may need to be eased into meeting the new additions to your flock. I went to our learning center(articles button at the top, rest is self explanatory) and found this reading material for you:

Best of luck and we want to see you be successful in your new hobby!

G’Day from down under fuentemoon :frow Welcome!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

BYC has Topic of the Week discussions which I have found to be a great resource, informative and sometimes entertaining; so definitely worth checking out.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of Rosie, her new hopefully BFF's or any of your other critters, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)
