Hi there, I'm brand new to this forum. My name is Autumn, and I'm an event planner for a Hilton property in Missoula, MT. I actually live in Stevensville, Montana, which is the earliest settlement in Montana. I'm living in a log cabin on some acreage, and have been renovating the house myself. I bought the property last August. Since then, I have been reading nearly every chicken book known to mankind, and researching chickens online. I don't like to get involved with something without knowing what I'm doing. So 9 months later, I finally bought 6 chicks (supposedly pullets) from the local Quality Supply Store. I'm now the proud owner of 2 araucanas, 1 white leghorn, 2 buff orpington, and 1 barred rock. It turns out that one "buff orpington" might actually be an EE, and might also be a rooster. I don't really like surprises, but I'm working on a way to keep the rooster, if that's what it turns out to be. That's a little about me. Thanks in advance for answering any dumb questions I might ask
