Hello from sunny Florida!!

Good morning everyone!

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself... My name is Denise, also known as farmerscott. I live in Citrus County Florida, and as far as I can tell, there have been no BYC events in this area (let's see if we can change that - hehe).

I joined my friend Tammy and our girls this past weekend and attended the BYC swap in Ocala. We all had a great time! AND we cumulatively came home with 9 baby chicks!!
Five of them belong to Tammy and her girls and four belong to my daughter and myself.

Our babies are still living in the house with us, and we've totally enjoyed having them. We am in the process of acquiring some building material to construct a chicken tractor. I would love to see pictures of yours if you wouldn't mind sharing. (believe it or not, I lie awake at night building their new home in my head - I've got it bad....)

Anyway, it was a pleasure meeting some of you on Saturday, and I'm hoping to get to know more of you very soon!

We're in Citrus County, too! Cmom lives about 10 minutes away from us.

Cmom holds swaps and ConchRepublic and I are holding our first ever here at our farm March 20th.

There are a few peeps (lol) names that I recognize from last weekend.
