Hello from sunny San Diego

New to the site and chickens. Just built a coop and trying to button everything up before I get chickens. Got the basics done. Need to work out food and water and the roost inside the coop. What else do chickens like to have. I figure on making some perches out of some apple tree limbs I have on hand. I would love suggestions or guidance if anything looks out of place. Thanks. Rick

! Pleased you joined us! Sounds like you got the basics covered - chickens need the proper ration, water, shelter with ventilation, access to some areas to scratch and grit.
