Don't feel bad, Cap, I'm still finding totes to unpack 13 years after moving. But I understand. It took us 2 years to get completely moved. We'd love to find a place that had more acreage and was farther from the road but I swear it would be easier to just toss a match and run over moving again. So here we stay.

We have high winds and could here. They say 50 mph gusts. I hear lots of banging. I checked our trash cans and they are still there. Could be branding from a distance because noises echo here in the hills and valleys. I still think when my taxes are finished spring will be here!!

I think we will all feel a little better when spring comes and we can do some relaxing out of doors.

March winds are starting early here too. Nothing as high velocity as yours are but noticeable. February (aka Muduary) here usually sees temps in the 40 and low 50s but the westerly 'March' winds makes it feel a lot colder.

I know I'll feel better with spring finally here. Most of summer of 24 was spent dealing with my injured arm and all of spring and summer last year was spent dealing with the surgery. I'm ready for nice weather and making up for lost time!

Good evening Granny Landers! I've been busy all day, haven't had a chance to even sit down until now. It was such a pretty day I worked outside most of the afternoon getting a flower bed ready to plant. Now I have to decide what I want to plant. It's partial shade so I need to do some research on plants that will do well there.
MC I had a similar experience with 3 bantam roosters we have. They are very randy and think they should mount every hen on the property whether the hen cooperates or not. It's funny to watch them try to subdue a hen three time bigger than they are.

I know! Just an FYI, there's a house for sale a few doors down on the opposite side of the street. Roomy, 2 fireplaces, and a fenced backyard! It's even nicer than ours. Just move on in!

Didn’t Virginia just get a new governor that wants to tax everything? If I move I am going to a state with less taxes and regulations

Hi Iris. I have a small flower area out front here at this place. I do have rules that should come up for the first time. I planted quite a few last fall. Im tryingvto devide what to plantbthere this year. I know one that did really well there last year.

I think the lady that owns the ceramics studio is tired of hearing about my illnesses. It's hard when someone asks you how you are. I don't say shitty, I just say, I am still alive. Should I lie and say I am great?
People at the studio used to enjoy my work. It lifted me up, above the pain. But I have not been making much in the last couple of months during the move, and this bad weather.
What i need is a good friend, locally to shop hang out with . Good friends are hard to find. People are busy. Or too old to get around much. And some things I am just too decrepit to do any more.

I know the feeling. Most people don’t want yo know how you are really feeling. Good friends are hard to find. I have distanced myself from most of my friends with radical liberal views. I am sorry but people should be able to discuss both sides of an issues without becoming unhinged. I am always willing to listen to the other side.
The whole Covid thing I lost a lot of friends because I didn’t get vaccinated. They didn’t want yo be around me. Oh well, my health is more important than a friend like that.

I am a loner naturally. I relate better to animals than most people. I enjoy my dog related stuff I do and hanging out with my grandkids.

I got my outdoor chores done this morning! Yay! I really really don't like the cold so that is a big chore for me haha! I'm itching to do stuff in our garden!! I may start peppers soon. I need to order seeds this month.

Kitty update Biscuit is doing a lot better with his new food, and bouncing around like normal!
Bubbles has a fever this morning and not eating Hopefully after resting today she will start feeling better. She is very withdrawn and not herself at all.

Oh yeah about friends to me it seems like most people have an agenda or something..they don't really want to be a friend. LORD JESUS is my best friend of all, and my hubby is my best friend flesh wise. Our children are also my friends while still having to be a parent though! I just really don't want to the drama that comes with making so called friends.

When I got Betty fixed, the ring around her neck made her extremely itchy and the vet said it's ok to take it off and wear her an infants under shirt. She did well with that. She was a little terror with her cone of shame. She stamped her feet at Butchy Boy and he went running
