New chick eyes barely opened dying

I have a 2 day old Delaware. Her eyes kept shutting. Her legs got weak Her eyes looked green around them. I gave her 1 drop of Nutri-drench and electrolytes. We got 10 that we pre ordered, the rest seem fine. She’s not gonna make it. Any ideas here. I realize this isn’t much info.

Hi Betsy,

Did you check her butt for pasty butt? If she's okay there, then this is most likely a failure to thrive (FTT) chick. I've had a couple of those through the years, and 50/50 whether they make it. Just keep trying to get it to eat/drink and be sure it's at around 95F at the base of their brooder so it's not chilled.

Did you get these from a hatchery or are they yours or local ones?

I'm sorry about your chick. I agree that checking for pasty butt, keeping her warm, and making sure she has access to water are all good steps. You could also offer some mash. Will she eat anything?
