Hello from SW Michigan

Hi all! Been lurking for about 6 months but just joined today!

We recently bought a farmhouse and some land and my first order of business was chickens! We have lived here for 4 weeks and had chickens for 2, clearly they were a priority. We have 10 chickens total currently including a rooster, a total variety of breeds. So far I’m just in love with their cute faces and quirky personalities.

I’m a crop advisor and my boyfriend is a CNC machinist. We are very outdoorsy and love to hike, fish, hunt and camp.

I was a member of a horse forum for 10+ years that was recently and very abruptly shut down. We think something happened to the guy who hosted it but no one knows. I’m looking forward to being part of a community again!
