Howdy!Hello from another SW Washington resident.
Welcome to BYC!!I am excited to be here! I am especially hoping to connect with other chicken people in my climate so i can learn all the things i need to know!!!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes! I just got my little week old chicks today
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Three
(3) What breeds do you have? 1 Golden Sex Link, 1 Olive Egger, I Barnevelder
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I am new, so there is a lot to explore. Currently i love researching. Also, i have a three year old and love the idea of her growing up with and raising chickens
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Knitting, reading, dreaming of/planning travel, baking, all things quiet and slow, turning my backyard into a habitat for local plants and pollinators
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I am a teacher, solo parent by choice of a 3 year old, have an old lady kitty, live in Vancouver, WA in the city with a big backyard
Thank you!Welcome to BYC @charmincarmen

Thank you, i've enjoyed diving into the forums and articles!Welcome to the coop! I use the Forums and Articles tabs at the top of the page to do research. You can get lost for hours. It's nice to know you are minutes away from getting help with questions and emergencies! I always check in the "What's New" section as well at the top of this page. This way I can read how I may have a similar question or help give some advice.
