Thanks for the welcome. For the last 2 weeks very very warm (always around 80F) and it just is going to get warmer the closer the summer comes. Sweden truly is a very nice country to visit or live in. We moved to Sweden 3 years ago and the people are very welcoming and friendly.

WHAT???? It is warmer there than here in Maine???
Greetings from across the pond.

Hello from Kentucky...My DD and I will be visiting Stockholm during Christmas break. Can't afford to go this time of year, although we did seriously consider couch surfing for a while but hubby is afraid we'd get kidnapped or something(watching too many thrillers). I am half Swedish and have wanted to visit the country of my ancesters since I was a kid and now that my DD finds out she has so much swede in her and also has a good friend from there who was an exchange student here, she is super interested in going there. So it will be a mother daughter trip for a week. Can't wait!!!

No, not yet. That is Midsummer which is in June. We live in the South of Sweden where during Midsummer it does get dark at night (you can always see some red thin line on the horizon). We own a farm (our vacation home) in the north of Sweden very close to the arctic circle and there it is light all day and all night which is very very weird. Last time we went there we arrived in the evening and I woke up at 1am just to find it light outside as if it was afternoon. Weird but truly amazing.

Well, we live in the warmest town in all of Sweden with the most sun hours per year. End of April it is normal for here to be 80F then the beginning of May it goes down again to about 60F. Right now it starts going up again. Normal temperatures in June/July are about 85 to 95F.
