Hi everyone! We are new to raising chickens. We have 10 chicks about 4weeks old that we got from Lee's Feed store. I am hooked! Just moved them from the house to the coop and I don't think I will sleep tonight worrying about them. We have 5 barred rocks and 5 rode island reds. We are having fun trying to guess their sex. We just got two five-day-old Americaunas. Now I want some fancy breeds. I was wondering if anyone in New York has ever used Nature Berry Farm. I am going there this week to see about Frizzle Cochin chicks. I am in love with the frizzle look but they are hard to find. Because we are new to this, I'm not sure how to know if a farm is a decent place to buy from or not. Anyone dealt with Nature Berry Farm?

Welcome
We're heading out there this week too. My wife wants some frizzles and since they're semi-local we've decided to make the trip.

Have fun at Nature Berry! Make sure you have a plan in mind before you go. Or you may end up coming home with quite a few more than you wanted! We ended up with 2 Black Frizzle Cochins (straight run), a Polish pullet, and a Brabanter pullet. The Brabanter is so sweet and docile. The Polish is crazy and kind of skittish. i have to work with her. And the Frizzles are just adorable!!!!!

Hi from Marcellus! I'm on my first set of 6 chickens and loving it. I know I'll NEED more ....
