I am new here and I have a question. Today I am hatching. I have 2 incubators with plan to hatch then transfer chicks to other incubator so not to disturb the ones in shells. My problem is when I went to transfer a new chick I noticed the incubator had a smell of pine sol. Not strong but I can smell it. Will this be safe for new chicks? Styrofoam incubator with fan.thank you!!

Hello there Steph! Welcome to Backyard chickens!! I am glad to see you found the incubating forum, and I know nothing about incubating eggs, so I hope the experts over there can help you! And you might like to check in at the Tennessee thread, great folks over their with tons of chicken chat. I hope you enjoy BYC as much as I have. And be careful.....It is addicting!
