Welcome, Minty!  I live in Middle Tennessee and hadn't heard of SLWs before, they're gorgeous chickens! 
Is Murray McMurray a hatchery?

Have you owned chickens before?  

It is a hatchery and they are pretty good. My family had chickens a few years ago and we miss the eggs so we got more. I believe our first batch of chickens was from the same hatchery.

I can't wait for the fair to roll around again. I am looking forward to showing some of my chickens, especially my Jeffery. I honestly don't know Jeffery's gender. I will post picture in the morning when there is sun light.

I am already looking for other colors in Wyandottes. I was reading up on some genetics and its cheaper to get male chicks. I have 6 SLW pullets so I was thinking Seeing what Colors I can get. Wyandottes are super awesome.
