Hello from Tennessee

Hello!

We have had our chicks for exactly 2 whole days now! I have wanted chickens my entire life and now have 6 little cuties to call my own. I live with my husband, 6year old son and 2year old daughter on a chicken friendly street right across from a lake... My chicks will be allowed to free range on 2 acres and we will pray that no one gets eaten by a hawk...

I have 2 Dominiques and one Partridge Rock from our local Co-op and 3 Silkies (my dream chickens!!!)
They are under a heat lamp in their coop that will will be placed on "chicken hill" in a few weeks...

I am so excited to see my ladies grow!
