Hello all. I am glad to be a member of such a fine web community. I am a mother of five, and have an obsession with silkies. I have a small flock of partridge, black, white and buff. I am new to the field but trying my best to make it. I would like to raise these sweet fluffballs until I am too old to see them. Thank you for having me.

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan

I tried and tried to hatch out some partridge this summer, and ended up with a buff and a blue - sigh. But they are very cute little things, and hopefully will hatch out some chicks for me next year.

Welcome, it's so nice to meet you! I'm from NC myself and this year started raising chickens and well... chicken math took over and the addiction began! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do here...I have met many wonderful friends and learned SOOOO much from many of the pros. Jump right on in, you will feel right at home in no time!
