Hello
Airforce guy here from Texas. Just got 2 little ones from a local feed store last night. They are both doing well in the brooder however I am pretty sure one that was bought as a Buff Orpington is actually a Cornish Rock Cross. So.... I am going today to get me a Rhode Island Red and hopefully a Black Australorp as well a Buff Orpington. Hoping to end up with 4 friendly hens for my Son to enjoy. I am building an A frame type coop with a floor to get the girls up off the ground at night to roost. I will have a 6x8' area for them to run and be happy with a small ramp to get into the coop. Have done lots of research and hope it will all work out in the end.
