I got my first chickens about 7.5 months ago and three days later built my first coop it took four days and A Home Depot CC lol. I have decided that this is something I enjoy and may have A slight addiction to this hobby.
My first 5 chickens I got from A friend that wasn't able to keep them. They were pretty young when I got them my guess is around 3 weeks. I didn't know what kind they were or what sex. I have done my best to learn about what kind they are. My best guess is I got RIR rooster RIR hen possibly New Hampshire A Dominicker, sultan mix A EE sultan mix and A black with blue feet crow well looks like A big crow.
I started to enjoy having them and started watching them in the morning before work while I was drinking my coffee. After about A month of having them I ran across someone that had some EE for sale and I thought they were nice looking birds so I bought 3. While I was there the man said he had some little chicks with feathers on their feet and said I could have them if I wanted. So I went to get 3 hens and left with 3 hens and 2 tiny chickens with feathers on their feet. As for those two I have figured out one is A bantam Cochin she is white and I still don't know what the other is. I do know it is A bantam rooster with feathers on his feet.
So if you lost count I have ten chickens two roosters six hens and two not sure have spurs but there smaller and don't act like A rooster. Soon I will buy A Ameraucana rooster and two hens and thinking about some Penedencia hens.

Welcome. There's lots of chicken addicts on this site. I currently have close to 100.

You have a beautiful flock. Very healthy looking birds too.
