Hello everyone. I have seen this board many times but haven't joined until today. I have had chickens for many years and have enjoyed their eggs. I joined because I want a new coop and it seems that this is the place to come to get some really good ideas and plans. I let mine free range for the most part. They have abandoned their coop for the hay in the barn. I don't mind but it's time to get more chicks and I want to keep them up in the chicken yard that was built for them. SO off to check the coops out.
I have only 3 hens of mixed breeds and will be getting some Easter Eggers in the Spring. I also have a small Sport Horse Breeding Ranchette. It's their hay that the girls are roosting on at night.
