Howdy everyone! I've lurked for long enough so I figured it was time to join!

I got my first four chickens back at the end of August 2018 from a friend. No idea what breed they are....

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

3 hens, one rooster, and five baby chicks.

4 unknown
3 Buff Orpington chicks
2 Brown Leghorn chicks

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

Blacksmithing, Ham radio, playing banjo, making my own charcoal

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

Just me right now, with my dog Lily who is a brindle Mastiff mix. Looking for work while building the homestead.

Yeah, the one with his head in the bowl is indeed a rooster. Woke me up a few days ago crowing lol. Was 95% sure it was a boy when I brought him home, but the crowing made me 100%!
