Greetings from the Lone Star state!
My wife and I have returned to Texas, after 18 years in the Oregon high desert.
The hardest part of the move was saying goodbye to our chickens and our garden... we started out with Buff Orpingtons, and gradually moved to a mixed flock (we took in quite a few chickens on the verge of becoming "homeless").
In the next week or two we'll be building a new coop and run, and expect some challenges adapting to the hot and humid conditions.
We miss our gals, and can't wait to get back to it!
